Daionna Camille is a communications professional, former journalist, and the Founder of The Brand Counsel PR & Associates, a strategic public relations firm built on the belief that how you communicate your story is just as important as the story itself.

With a professional background spanning journalism, public affairs, media, and strategic communications, Daionna brings a distinctive perspective to brand positioning and reputation. She currently serves as a Public Affairs Specialist within the federal government, where her work further strengthens her expertise in navigating complex messaging, public-facing communications, and audience engagement.

A proud HBCU graduate of Bowie State University, Daionna holds both a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree, building an academic foundation that complements years of real-world communications experience.

Her transition from journalist to public affairs professional and publicist has given her the ability to see communications from every angle—from understanding what makes a story newsworthy to recognizing how messaging can influence public perception and strengthen a brand’s presence.
